US Student Visa Requirements
Apply to a college that has been approved by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). You will be registered for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System after your SEVP school accepts your enrolment (SEVIS).
After paying the SEVIS I-901 fee, the SEVP-approved school will issue you a Form I-20.
After that, visit the American embassy or consulate to request an F/M student visa.
Note: During the interview for a student visa to the USA, the Form I-20 must be provided to the consular official.

- A valid passport with a validity date at least six months beyond your period of stay.
- Recent passport size photograph.
- Confirmation page of DS-160.
- Form I -20.
- Payment of application fees for SEVIS.

Student Visa USA Processing Time:
The processing time for a US visa application is 3 to 5 weeks. The applicant may receive a favourable response to their application following processing, and the consulate will deliver the document. The delivery of the visa may require an additional two working days.
How to Get a Student Visa for USA
The applicant will receive a Form I-20 from the SEVP-approved school. You can apply for a student (F or M) visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate after receiving the Form I-20 and signing up in SEVIS. At the visa interview, the applicant must show the Form I-20 to the consular official.
If you think about bringing your dependents to live with you in the US as an international student. Students on F-1 and M-1 visas may be allowed to bring their unmarried children under the age of 21 and/or spouse to reside with them while they are studying in the US.

- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
